Tzvi Brivik

Tzvi Brivik is a senior partner at Malcolm Lyons & Brivik in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his Bachelor Of Commerce Degree in law and economics and his Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University Of Witwatersrand respectively in 1993 and 1995.

He is an expert in the Labour and Personal Injury fields of law. In the former, Tzvi has been involved in and won a number of groundbreaking cases against major banks and even the Western Cape Provincial Government. In the latter, he is an expert in medical malpractice and has won several multi-million rand judgments and settlements for injured clients, both at home in Johannesburg and in other areas of South Africa such as Durban, Pretoria, Kimberley and Cape Town.

Tzvi was the first South African lawyer to ever protect the rights of a private sector whistleblower and was responsible for the first ever application to Court alleging discrimination under South Africa’s Protected Disclosures Act.

Both through his legal practice and through philanthropic work, Tzvi is an advocate for the rights of disabled people, and is a current member of the Executive Committee of the Cape Town Association of the Physically Disabled.
