Marco Bona is a co-founder and senior partner at MB.O. in Turin, Italy. He specialises in personal injury and is internationally recognised as a leading author and expert in personal injury litigation, cross-border accidents and European tort/consumer law.

His team has won compensation on behalf of foreign individuals and families involved in a wide range of accidents, including road traffic accidents, skiing accidents, virus outbreaks (in particular salmonella and Legionnaire diseases), maritime disasters (Costa Concordia), plane crashes and railways disasters (Viareggio, Val Venosta).

Marco is also highly respected among academics and policy makers. Testament to this are his PhD in Comparative Private Law from the University of Trento and the 150 published scholarly articles he has written for the former field; as well as his participation as an expert to a variety of European Commission sessions on accident law for the latter.

Marco also currently holds PEOPIL (The Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers)’s Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year Award, which he won in 2016 and co-won with Clive Garner in 2017.
