Antoinette Collignon

Antoinette Collignon is an attorney and partner at Legaltree in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is a specialist in cross-border liability and personal injury cases, product liability, employers’ liability and private international law. She has over fifteen years’ experience in international litigation, working closely with lawyers throughout Europe and the United States.  In 1997, she co-founded the European organisation for personal injury lawyers (PEOPIL) and was elected its first Dutch (as well as first female) president in 2009.

Antoinette is a part-time lecturer at the University of Leiden and also gives lessons at SDU and Kerckebosch, as well as regularly contributing to the development of her field by writing academic articles. She is a regular speaker at international conferences and seminars for not only PEOPIL, but also the American Association for Justice (AAJ). In 2017, she was inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), an invitation-only association considered to be among the most prestigious legal organizations in the world.
