Baltic Ace / Corvus J ship collision

Another maritime disaster in which members of the GJN are actively involved is that of the Baltic Ace. On December 5, 2012, the Baltic Ace, a car carrier, collided with the Corvus J, a container ship, near the port of Rotterdam. Eleven crew members lost their lives when the Baltic Ace sank to the bottom of the North Sea along with 1,400 cars.
