Melissa Ferrari is an attorney and the founder of her own law firm, as well as our current President at Global Justice Network and the chair of the CLEAN Foundation’s (an organisation dedicated to obtaining compensation for victims affected by the Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal) board of directors.
Melissa’s area of expertise is international law, and she is particularly proficient at representing European claimants involved in legal proceedings in the US and vice versa.
Melissa began her career as a medical malpractice defense attorney in Cincinnati and worked in the field until 2008, though she took a break in the mid-90s to act as liaison between the German and US governments regarding the latter’s embassy’s move from Bonn to Berlin. She now mainly represents claimants throughout Europe in group proceedings and coordinates cross-border activities. She also practices U.S. immigration law.
