Jurjen Lemstra is a name partner and founder of Amsterdam-based firm Lemstra Van Der Korst. He specializes in advising and providing expertise in litigation involving corporate disputes. He regularly represents the interests of shareholders and interest groups in procedures before the investigative court in Amsterdam and in public tender cases.

He is also involved in settlements and procedures regarding group action claims. In the area of financial law, he specialises mainly on the liability of the providers of financial products, the duty of care of financial institutions and the positions of financial supervisors. In addition to this, he advises shareholders and executive and non-executive board members in corporate governance and personal liability at or outside bankruptcy situations. Indeed, Jurjen is reputed as one of the most successful class action lawyers in the Netherlands, having won huge settlements against the likes of Dexia, Ahold, Goldman Sachs, ABN Amro and World Online.
