David Abraham is a founder and senior partner at his namesake Abraham Law Firm in Jakarta, Indonesia. After completing his studies in the US, David started his practice in 1986, and has since accumulated a vast wealth of experience in both national and international cases.
He is most well known for representing the victims of the Mandala Airlines Flight 91 crash in 2005 against both Boeing and United Technologies Corp., two huge international aircraft manufacturers. That said, he has also been involved in high profile litigation involving DHL Express Asia Pacific, OCBC Securities Service Limited, Commerzbank Asset Management Ltd., Siemens Pte Ltd., and Cooper Mechanical Oilfield Services.
David has repeatedly made the news back home due to his being one of the most high profile members of Indonesia’s tiny Jewish minority, with a fascinating family history which saw his grandparents leave Baghdad and Singapore to settle in Surabaya on Java.
